TAG (?)

SO I'm doing what Anna did on her blog.  like going to the fourth album and fourth photo.
haha.
well. This picture tells alot about our personalities.. manly that we're crazy

But I think this was in january sometime and we got carried away with Photo Booth --- to say the least. We both thought we were being hilarious with having our mouth be really big or our teeth really big.
so yeah.
there ya have it. Anna Garret and Laura Boyer are completely insane

OH I'm such a good housewife:)

Yeah, so just in case you're wondering. I have been in a craftzy mood! (if thats even a word) I have become very...knowledgeable in the arts of sewing.
I have made three GIANT stockings. oh they are adorable. Why, you may ask. Well, let me tell you. Because I decided that my sister Ashley needed some Christmas decorations so I was like, "hey, lets make her and her dogs --- yes her DOGS -- some stockings. So we go to Joanns and we buy adorable fabric and a pattern and all these cute things for her stockings. *oh they are so cute.*
Dang, these took FOREVER to make. Because I embrodered all three stockings. So one says 'Ashley' one says "Fenyman" and another one says 'Riley.' :) They are so precious.

ANyways.
So I made those stockings and I finished them on monday and i was like, "hm.. I want to make more." SO I decided that I wanted to make Melissa -- my sister who is in Albania a stocking -- So my mom and I went to Jo-anns again, but then we decided not to make my sister Melissa a stocking , but PJ's instead - For christmas. cause its kinda tradition in our family to get PJ's every Christmas Eve. So, (i say 'so' alot) I made her pajama pants AND a t-shirt. Amazing right?
Aren't I just getting so good at craftzy things? :) I mean, seriously. I've done so much this week. I've sewed/emboirdered 3 stockings, made a set of pajamas, knitted a scarf and hat! wow. Am such a nerd :) oh well, I love me :) haha

Anyways.
CHRISTMAS TIME!
We decorated our tree today. Oh its so delightful! :) This is really the most wonderful time of the year! I love christmas shopping and wrapping presents and snow. Oh snow. Snow is so wonderful. I want to have a big snowball fight, go sledding or go skiing this winter with friends! oh I'm so excited :)
you wanna know what else I'm excited for?
December 3
why?
Because I'm performing a jazz dance at Festival of Trees on the third at 5:30. You guys should come :) Its gonna be pretty awesome. The dance is pretty cool too. It'll be exciting :)

MERRY CHRISTMAS! HAPPY HOLIDAYS! :)

pazaaaz

Hello,
So Anna left me a lovely comment that told me to "update your blog yo." So i come on my blog and, lo, and behold, its been like two months since I've posted something!

CRAZY!

Its almost Halloween! aH!! I'm going as a black car *MEOW* Beware, I'm going to be wearing fake nails -- these hurt when they come in contact with flesh at high speed levels.:) So basically my costume is just my black leotard and jazz pants and a black leather jacket (scandalous!) and I have these awesome furry black earmuffs so when we go trick-or-treating (yes, i'm going trick-or-treating) my ears won't be falling off! Genius! i know :)

So basically....people should come to the "Fall Festival" Why? Well First: i'm going to be there, duh. :)  and second: the officers are doing an awesome booth thing called :Death by Doughnuts. Where you have to eat a doughnut off a string hanging from the ceiling, without using your hands. Holy cow! its hilarious to watch! When the officers were test-driving it, Erica and i were competing and it as HILARIOUS! I almost started choking on my and Third: with the money that you donate/ use to spend on tickets, that money will contribute to buying a new computer lab and 20% of the procceeds will go to the Ghananians. :)
be a good person -- come to Fall Festival :)

This posting on my blog has been totally pointless.. so just remember Anna... this was all for you :)

Bogala! woot woot

hiya everyone who is reading this! (go ahead, say "Hi Laura"...did you do it? )

anywho.
so basically I don't know what to write about so I"ll write about my adventures of my first five days of school as a 9th grader!
well.

My day starts early at 5 am. I wake up to Seussical The Musical (woot woot) and then I force myself to get out of bed and in the shower so I'm ready to leave for Early Morning Seminary at 6:10. After I shower I get into my wonderful uniform (hmm...what should I wear today? blue or red? khaki or...khaki?) and then I 'beautify' myself :) a.k.a Do my hair and make - up. I then go and wake up my doggies and take them out to 'do their business' if you get my drift... ;) Then I make my lunch for the day. My lunch usually consists of a ham, cheese, mustard and mayo sandwich. But now I will have pretzels (isn't that a fun word?) WOOT WOOT. Anywho, after I make my tantalizing lunch I get my backpack, scripture bag and lunchbox ready. My pappa and I say pray and then we head off to Viewmont where I go to seminary - at 6:30!
I usually get at the seminary building at about 6:15 and am the only one in my class that is early. My teacher is Brother Allen. He's cool. I'm so happy I'm not the only person in a uniform in my seminary class!!! Heyden (I think I spelt it wrong) is in my class. and I know 3 other girls that are in that class: Ky (from LPA last year) Lauren Augustine (from LPA 2 years ago) and Lindsay Howell (from homeschooling 3 years ago....) and yeah. thats basically all the people I know in my seminary class. GO ME!
Well after I listen in seminary we get dismissed around 7:15 and I get to wait around the seminary building while I wait for my mom to come pick me up. Which isn't until 7:30 ish. So, I get to stand in the lobby area and watch as all the Viewmont students come in for their 1st/5th period seminary. It's really funny cause I get to see all the students look at me and then take another look at me as they realize that I'm in a uniform..yeah, I feel a little dorky...whats really funny is when I know the kids who are looking at me - or my uniform. For instance, on B days I get to see Jo Phillips, Davis Wright, and Clarissa Stahle as I wait for my mom. On A days I get to see Shelby Thomas as she comes to seminary 1st period. Woot woot. :D
Finally when my mom does come ( I love you mommie!) we head out to LPA. We get to deal with all the morning traffic will listening to either: 'my 99.5" or "107.9 the mix" Purty Exciting! We finally get to LPA around 7:40 ish. Except i have to wait around in my mom's office until 8. :( then I proceed to my locker where I 'socialize' with Erica and I get my stuff and put it in my 1st period class: Geography. I then wait in the hallways with Erica for the buses to come so we can socialize with all the bus peeps. and then we wait even longer for the seminary kids. :)
Well.. sooner than later we have to stop socializing and go to first period. LAME. But its all good cause Mr. Maloy is awesome! I then go to second period (omg! what an amazing concept!) which is honors english..wow that class is really quiet. 3rd period is Advanced Musical Theatre. wow, I love that class. Mr. Stokes is awesome. "ra ra ra ra ra ra ra ra" 4th period is Algebra 2. wow, that class is confusing - and its only review! AH! i hate scientific notation! so confusing! I usually put my hair up in a high ponytail in that class haha. anywho by this time I'm like STARVING. but I have to go to 5th period which is Biology. I like biology. Its pretty good. I like my seat. I sit my David, infront of Erica and Blake. pretty much perfect, except Anna needs to be on the other side of me. after 5th i have lunch!!! yummy!!! except that lunch room is so empty cause we have 2 lunches now. weird. after lunch is latin!! woot woot. that class is fun - sometimes. i sit right next to Erica so thats fun :) 7th period is leadership. A.k.a OFFICERS! and now Dani Gehring is like our called 'SBO rep." cause she's amazing and is in that leadership class. She is so cute! i love her! anywho
that is my school day.
then I get stuck in the library with 30+ kids trying to do my homework without talking. GR

and then I go home, do homework, go crazy whatever, then I eat dinner, read my scriptures, write in my journal, wash my face/teeth and then go sleep!!!
And talking of sleep... yeah, that sounds really good right now. I think I'm going to go to sleep! goodnight!

School

ok, Since I have been looking at all of my friends blogs I have noticed that they are all talking about the same thing: School and their schedules.
So, let me start with my schedule:

1. Geography for Life  - I am way excited for this class! Even though Anna isn't in it ( :( ) Erica and David are so it should be a blast!
2. Honors 9th English - this class only has like 4 people....lets hope the discuss..
3. Advanced Musical Theatre: this class is taught by mr. stokes. I"m SO stoked (haha, aren't i witty? ) to take this class.it'll be lots of fun. Even though I wanted to take advanced theatre.. but I couldn't cause of my math :(
4. Algebra 2: There are only 4 other people in the class with me: Blake, Crista Killpack, Alex Tufts, and Ben Horsley. I"m nervous to take this class! What if its really hard??!!! AH!
LUNCH: I have the second lunch....who, the only person I know who has this with me is Erica . But I do now that (according to Ms. Kelly and Mrs. Fabick) that if you are in Kelly's or Maloys  or Wards fifth period class (there was one other teacher but i can't remember who) you have the first lunch. Which is totally lame, cause  I already know that Anna,Krista, and Taylor won't be in my lunch. LAME!
5. Biology: hm... I'm excited for science this year.  I've been helping my mom at the school and I"ve talked to Mrs. Fabick while I"m working and she seems pretty cool. PLUS, she was listening to good movies (go musicals!) and so thats a good sign :) Except..Ms. Kelly has already told her [ Mrs. Fabick ] who all my friends are...and so I probably won't be sitting by any of my friends :(
6.Latin 3: This class isn't very big. Probably 18 people I think. That is what Ms. Kelly said, BUT, she said she's going to put Erica and I in the back of the room so we can talk and she won't have to hear us :) hehe.. YES!
7. Leadership: So basically there are pretty much only officers in the class. I really hope its actually a class and not just an extension of our officer meetings...

Well yeah, Thats my schedule! yay! I'm pretty excited for school to start. I don't know how to do my hair of if I should wear shorts or pants.. hm.. big decision ;) But apart from being excited for Wednesday I'm super stoked for the Musical this year! even though  I don't know what it is...(mr. stokes won't tell me! rude!) I am still uber-excited cause yeah, I just am :) I miss performing! I can't wait untill he tells us what musical he  wants to do!!!

Anywho..
I'm running out of things to say. sO GoodnighT!

oh. My. Goodness!I  Just went and saw Prince Caspian for the fourth time yesterday! and it was still amazing!!!!!! Now, I really really really really like the story line and all the symbolism and things...but honestly, I also LOVE watching the EXTREMELY attractive actors in that movie!!! Oh my gosh, they are so cute! :)
So this is Ben Barnes who plays Prince Caspian, and dang, he is a hottie-patotty-with-a-naughty-body!!! WOW! :)
Again, Prince Caspian looking beautiful! - as always:)
!!! This is Edmund (Skandar Keynes) He is definitely my favorite! he is SO cute in the movie, gosh, I can hardly stand it!
Oh wow, this is my FAVORITE picture of William Mossely! He plays Peter in Prince Caspian, and even though Edmund and Prince Caspian are WAY cuter, Peter is still pretty darn attractive!
Yay! Its all 'the kings and queens of Narnia.'  so it goes from left to right: Lucy,Peter,Prince Caspian,Susan and Edmund!! *sigh* They are so fine!
Are you a parking ticket??? Cause you've got FINE written all over you! ;)
I can't handle it! they are so cute!!! AH! But, yeah, they are so hot - there is no other word to describe them! But I do like the movie for the movie plot and everything (except the whole romance between Susan and Prince Caspian makes me barf...) its still really good! And I would totally recommend anyone to watch it!

*Hola!*

Hiya!
I haven't written in a little bit and LOTS has happened - kinda :)

Last Wednesday my sister Melissa went to serve an LDS mission! wow, she's going to be gone for 18 months! and most of that time is going to be spent in Albania!!! I know crazy right? But anywho...even though I'm sad i'm not going to be able to see her until I'm 16 (which is only a year and a half away...:) hehe) I can't say I'm not glad that she's gone :) Because now I have my own room! Par-tay!  I really hate sharing rooms, especially when you have to sleep on a bunk-bed. ugh, TORTURE! But now thats she's gone I have my own room, and its clean, and its re-arranged and I'm not going crazy anymore :) Life is good.

OH! A GREAT thing that has happened since I last posted was that I went boating. O. My. Goodness. It was SO much fun! Even though I did get kicked in the nose ( haha..seth!) and flew off the Tube a few times, and my face got sunburned, AND i hit my head on some random thing poking out of the boat... I had a BLAST! I only went tubing but it was very...funny...to watch David, Evan, Taylor and Seth: 'no-board' (basically get dragged behind the boat) and surf.  It was especially entertaining to try and see Seth surf :D lets just say surfing is not his strong point haha, there were many back-flops and belly flops. :) oh, and apart from tubing, no-boarding and surfing we went swimming.   Swimming was fun ( I didn't freak out in deep water. Woot Woot) however.....david, seth and taylor (and sometimes Evan) found it their duty to dunk me...a lot. one moment i would be above the water and then the next, i was under. oh, and knowing how much I hate fish they decided that it was really funny to grab my feet and try and make me believe I was getting bitten by fishes...ha...ha....
then, after boating we went back to their cabin and had delicious pizza, played rockband and watched I am Legend.- ha that was an experience.  I think by the end of that movie no one wanted to watch another movie with me ever.- cause ya see, in 'intense movies' I talk alot so i don't get as freaked out and another nasty habit i have in intense movie is screaming...yeah....when something pops out and freaks me out, I scream, loudly :) but, yeah, that was my boating experience.

o, my , goodness! Batman: The Dark Knight was simply amazing! Heath Ledger did an amazing job!!!!!! and dang, Christian Bale, holy cowza! He is one attractive man :) There is this one part where he gets off his motorcycle and WOW! He looked...there's no other word for it...hott!
It was an amazing movie, even though it was...'dark' it was still amazing!

but anywho.
bye!

Memories of LPA

Anna and I! Aren't we lovely? I actually think that this is a really cool picture and we totally took it on accident! I had zoomed the camera in on accident, but it turned out really cool I think!
Erica, Preston and I. We are being his adoring fans. :) that was like my favorite part of the Broadway Review being Preston's adoring fan!
The last day being 8th grade president ( now I'm Student Body President :) )
Chris Quick - 8th grade secratary, Preston- 7th grade Pres.  ME, Erica - 8th grade V.P., Taylor - 7th grade V.P, Shelby Thomas - Student Body President.

*sigh* being in office was lots of fun this last year. 'It was like 30 pounds!" "Bad things happen in the dark..." "23, 23, 23, 23...." wow, lots of inside jokes and Ton's of fun making posters ;) (haha) But being in office of the school year 07-08 was definitely a blast!
Aww... Shelby and I. Aren't we cute? :) We took this the night of the LPA ice skating party!
Puma puma!
Ah, Zions. Zions was really fun! Even though it wasn't as fun as 7th grade... it was still a blast! I got to ride to and from Zions in very nice R.V's....ah bliss :) I got very competitive when we started playing Egyptian Rat-screw. I LOVE that game. I'm speedy :) Watch out for my fingernails  or you just might find that you have a scratched up finger when you play that game with me...I'm aggresive :)
Anywho, our campsite was infested with caterpillars! grody! on the first day they counted over 300 caterpillars in our campsite!!!!! EW

But zions was really fun. The picture is of Blake, Karlee,Marcus, David, Me and Sarah and Jason was taking the picture. We just finished the hike The Hidden Canyon. It was SO pretty and it was lots of fun!

S*U*M*M*E*R

OK! since I have absolutely nothing to write about,  I will write about my summer.

So far, my summer has been SO much fun! I've been to Girls Camp ( that was a blast), EFY  ( SOOO much fun) and I'm starting dance classes this week! I'm taking ballet for the firs time since I was like 8 ( I think ) I'm kinda of nervous but excited at the same time! Shelby Thomas is going to be in the same class with me so that will be fun!

Other than what I've mentioned above I haven't done anything REALLY exciting.  I've been to a baseball game with my family and saw fireworks there. I've hung out with a lot of my friends. oh , and I've crocheted a BUNCH! Because I'm making a blanket for my friend Anna...and I'm almost done with it! Hallelujah! I've also knitted a bunch. I'm knitting my sister a scarf so she can wear it on her mission and remember me! But, this scarf is about the ugliest scarf  I have ever seen ( sorry Melissa) but it will be a reminder of home! :) Melissa leaves to Albania for 18 months  next wednesday! How crazy is that? And, while I will miss HER I WON"T miss having to share a room. I hate sharing a room! And I'm so glad that I will get my own room back when she leaves....(even though I'm very sad that you'll be leaving Melissa)  Oh, before she leaves we decided that we need to have all of these "Movie Marathons." Last week Melissa and I had a Harry Potter Movie Marathon!!! We watched all 5 movies in a day.  It was pretty much exciting, even though the acting in those movies are atrocious and they leave out a BUNCH of stuff fromthe books, it was still fun watching them.   Melissa, Shelby and I still need to have our Lord of the Rings Movie Marathon. Those movies are just so darn good!  And on Friday our family (minus Mom...she's a wimp and doesn't want to go see it :) ) is going to go see Batman: The Dark Knight. I'm SOO excited!!! Its going to be AWESOME!  Plus Christian Bale is in it....man, is he attractive ;)

*sigh* I've finally come to accept the fact that summer is slowly going away and in less than 2 months I'm going to be  back in school.:( However, I'm kinda excited for 9th grade. I'm going to be very busy! I have Student Body President responsibilities as well as Dance Company. I"m going to be dancing  5 hours a week (monday, wednesdays and thursdays) But it'll be fun. I'm excited!!!!  I'm also going to take Honors English and Geography! 9th grade seems very  promising :)  But I don't want summer to end! I still have things I have to do this summer! Like, go swimming, get tan, finish the Book of Mormon, make lots of money, watch all cool movies, read all my favorite books again.....

Well, I can't think of anything else to write, so goodbye!
